The Parting Glass
Tuesday 2nd August saw the last night the 3 Bridies will play together for some time. Bridie Scotland has departed for her homeland. 2 Bridies, Kate and Clare will continue as a duo for the time being. Jacqueline will not be easy to replace.
This special night gig was a real treat. A great buzz in the very crowded bar, and many special guests. Special thanks to Edgar, Jan, Tommy, Zara and Mike, who entertained alongside us.
A big thanks to Dermot – the boss – for a splendid send off with a spectacular cake.
Jacqueline now embarks on a new exciting chapter in Scotland.
We hope to reunite for Paddy’s week gigs next year in Glasgow. Watch this space!

Oh so sorry to hear Jacqueline has departed. Glad to hear though that Kate and Claire will still be entertaining us when we come next week. I just posted on Facebook, before I knew of the new lineup. However the offer of anything you need bringing across still stands (as long as it doesn’t weigh a ton)

Yes it’s really sad, but a great new chapter for Jacqueline. And the two of us, are continuing with guest bridies joining us at each gig. Look at the the event listing to see who will be playing with us. Hope to see you soon, Kate & Clare 🙂
