Following the departure of the fabulous Bridie Scotland (Jacqueline), Karina, a percussion specialist, joined us on a few gigs. The result was amazing, and we asked her to join us on a more permanent basis.
Karina has joined us now on many gigs, and we are now delighted to have her join us as a permanent member of our little band. Karina is from Buenos Aires in Argentina – so we welcome Bridie Argentina.
Karina plays percussion – Congas, Cajon, symbols and other various percussion pieces from time to time.
All three of us look forward to collaborating on new musical arrangements. Karina brings a new angle with her Latin roots, and this is already spicing up the sound.
Bridie Scotland is gone, but never forgotten, and whenever we get the chance to make music again together, we will. Jacqueline is now teaching music in Glasgow, but does come back to the island for visits.
