Calor y Café are a non-profit association based in Arrecife, they have an open door policy to anyone in need, whatever the reason. And have already helped many residents of Lanzarote

The charity was founded by Sr. Ana in September 1996. Today, Sister Ana and the growing number of volunteers offer many services to those who find themselves in need. The reasons for this are varied, but in recent times, since the economic downturn, many families have found themselves destitute at worst or simply not able to make ends meet, and put food on the table.

The charity provide daily meals, hairdressing and laundry facilities as well as distributing clothes that have been donated to the charity. They also provide a medical service with access to doctors and health workers.
